Planting & Hay Season

Life on the ranch is a dynamic mix, changing with the seasons and always buzzing with activity. The tasks shift as the weather changes, and there’s never a dull moment. Everyone pitches in to help.

Feed the Herd Depends On

In planting and hay season, you will see tractors working the farm circles, hay getting baled, and corn just starting to come up. The farming side stays busy all year, plowing, planting, and harvesting the organic feed our cattle depend on.

Calving, Branding, Round Up

On the cattle side it might be calving, branding, or weaning, and most mornings start horseback checking the herd. Come round up, cowboys gather cows and calves the way it has been done for generations, handled the lowest stress way we can. Neighbors ride over to help, and it turns into family and community getting it done together.
