Overview
This website is operated by ("Ribbonwire Ranch," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting ribbonwire.com or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Service, along with our Shipping Policy, Refund and Return Policy, and Privacy Policy, all of which are part of these Terms.
Please read them before you use the site. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
Our store runs on Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform we use to sell to you.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your state, to buy from us or create an account. If you are under that age you may use the site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
You may not use our products or this site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates any law in your jurisdiction.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access to it.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used in a way that breaks these Terms.
3. Products, Pricing, and Availability
We work hard to show our products accurately, but colors and images on your screen may not match the product exactly.
Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. Product availability can change without notice. We may limit quantities per person, per household, or per order, and we may limit or refuse orders that appear to be from dealers, resellers, or distributors.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. If we cancel an order after you have been charged, you get a full refund.
Occasionally a product or price may be listed incorrectly. If that happens, we may cancel the affected order even after it is placed, and we will refund you in full.
4. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing
This section applies if you sign up for Subscribe and Save.
What you are agreeing to
When you place a subscription order, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically on a recurring basis at the frequency you select, at the subscription price shown at checkout, plus applicable tax and shipping, until you cancel.
You will see the price, the frequency, and the discount before you complete your order.
Your discount
The Subscribe and Save discount applies to each subscription order for as long as your subscription is active. It cannot be combined with other offers unless we say so.
Reminders
We send an email before each renewal charge so you have time to skip, change, or cancel.
Price changes
If we change your subscription price, we will notify you by email at least 30 days in advance. The new price takes effect on your next renewal after that notice. You can cancel before it applies.
Making changes
You can skip a shipment, change frequency, swap products, update payment or shipping details, pause, or cancel at any time from your account. No phone call, no email required, no cancellation fee.
Cancellation timing
Changes and cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your next scheduled charge to apply to that order.
Cancelling stops future charges. It does not automatically refund an order that has already shipped. See our Refund and Return Policy.
Failed payments
If a charge is declined, we will retry it and let you know. If we cannot collect after a reasonable number of attempts, your subscription may be paused or cancelled.
Our right to end a subscription
We may cancel or modify a subscription program, including discount levels and available products, with notice to active subscribers.
5. The Herd Loyalty Program
The Herd is our rewards program. Joining is free and voluntary.
Earning and redeeming
You earn points on qualifying purchases and actions at the rates published on our Rewards page.
Points have no cash value, are not property, and cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash. They can only be redeemed for the rewards we offer.
Points are earned on purchases made at ribbonwire.com. Purchases made at grocery stores or other retailers do not earn points.
Expiration
Points expire after 12 months with no account activity. Any purchase, redemption, or earning action resets the clock.
Refunds and reversals
Points earned on a refunded or cancelled order are removed from your balance.
Abuse
We may remove points, close an account, or end participation if we find fraud, abuse, or activity that breaks these Terms, including fake reviews, self-referrals, and duplicate accounts.
Changes to the program
We may change the earn rates, redemption values, rewards, or program rules, or end the program entirely, with reasonable notice. If we end it, we will give members a window to redeem their balance.
6. Promotions, Discount Codes, and Bundles
Discount codes are single use unless stated otherwise, cannot be combined unless stated otherwise, have no cash value, and can expire or be withdrawn.
Bundle pricing applies only to bundles bought as configured on the site. We may correct pricing or cancel an order where a code has been misused or obtained improperly.
Welcome offer
The discount offered for joining our email list applies to your first order only, is limited to one per customer and household, cannot be combined with other discount codes, has no cash value and may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
7. Product Information and Health Claims
Our products are food, not supplements or medicine. Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Nutrition information, ingredient lists, and allergen information are provided as accurately as we can and are also printed on every package. Always read the package label before eating, especially if you have a food allergy or sensitivity.
Formulations and suppliers can change. If there is ever a difference between the site and the package, the package is correct.
Our products are produced in a facility that also handles other foods. Contact us if you need specific allergen information.
Certifications
Certification marks displayed on this site, including USDA Organic, Certified Gluten Free, and any animal welfare or origin certifications, apply to the specific products that carry them and are current as of the date of this policy.
Not every product in our catalog carries every certification. The package label is the definitive source for which certifications apply to a given product.
8. Reviews, Photos, and Other Submissions
If you post a review, photo, video, comment, or any other content on our site or tag us on social media, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display that content in connection with our business, including in marketing, without payment or credit to you.
You confirm that the content is yours to share, that it does not violate anyone's rights, and that it is not unlawful, misleading, abusive, obscene, or defamatory.
We are not obligated to publish, monitor, or keep any submission, and we may remove content at our discretion.
Reviews must reflect an honest experience with the product. We do not edit or delete reviews because they are negative.
9. Intellectual Property
The Ribbonwire Ranch name, logo, crossed-wire mark, brand assets, photography, illustrations, site design, and copy are our property or licensed to us, and are protected by trademark and copyright law.
You may not copy, reproduce, sell, resell, scrape, or exploit any part of the site or its content without our written permission.
10. Prohibited Uses
You may not use this site to:

12. Disclaimer of Warranties
We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, or that any results from using it will be accurate or reliable.
Except as expressly stated by us or required by law, the site and everything sold through it is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ribbonwire Ranch and its owners, officers, employees, and suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or any product bought through it, including lost profits, lost data, or replacement costs, even if we were advised such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the site or a product will not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.
Some states do not allow these limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ribbonwire Ranch and its owners, officers, employees, and agents from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.
15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Most problems can be sorted out quickly. Before starting any formal proceeding, please contact us at hello@ribbonwire.com so we have a chance to resolve it directly.
If we cannot, you and Ribbonwire Ranch agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your purchase will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, administered under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, rather than in court, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
You and Ribbonwire Ranch each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action or class arbitration.
Arbitration will take place in Dallam County, Texas, or by phone or video where the provider allows. This section survives termination of these Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration, it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dallam County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version here with a new "last updated" date.
Continuing to use the site after we post changes means you accept them.
Material changes to subscription terms will be sent to active subscribers by email.
18. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the rest stays in effect.
These Terms, together with the policies referenced in them, are the entire agreement between you and Ribbonwire Ranch regarding the site and supersede any prior version.
