Opting out of marketing does not stop transactional messages like order confirmations, shipping updates, and subscription renewal reminders, which we send because you placed an order.

How to make a request

Email orders@ribbonwire.com with your request and the email address associated with your account, or use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer.

We may need to verify your identity before we act. You may use an authorized agent where state law allows.

We will respond within the time your state's law requires, generally within 45 days, and we will tell you if we need more time.

If we deny your request

You may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing orders@ribbonwire.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal."

We will review the appeal and respond in writing with our decision and the reasons for it within 60 days.

If we deny the appeal, we will give you a way to contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our products and services, and after that only as long as required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution purposes.

Order records are typically retained for at least seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of payment data in transit.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
